Welcome to another saucy episode of SUNDAE WITH NUTS where I have asked my fellow authors to join me for the day for a bit of fun and a laugh. We are romance writers after all!
Without further ado, I am most pleased to introduce the lovely and talented (and very brave!) Sara Walter Ellwood!
And today is a bit special as Miss Sara is my first guest to offer a giveaway. Now isn’t that awesome! *fireworks*
Sundae with the Nut Sara Walter Ellwood
1. Favorite knickers: cotton, lace, silk or errr…leather?
I’m really boring. I like cotton.
2. Who is your fantasy male or female? Or both?—What? I can only pick one!
Emm… Let’s see… I’d have to say to me two of the best-looking guys out there are Orlando Bloom and Channing Tatum. And I wouldn’t throw Johnny Depp overboard either.
3. What vehicle, abode, beach, construction site or other locale did you lose your virginity.
Oh, my! It was a dorm room… LOL
4.Do you believe in love at first sight?
I do, but I never experienced it.
5. Most romantic or sexiest destination out there.
I’m a beach bum… So, I’d have to say somewhere there’s a beautiful and exotic beach.
6. Who was your first crush or kiss?
Well, if you don’t count the time I chased a boy in my class to the back of the bus in first grade… My first real kiss happened during a graduation party. I was drunk and the guy (who was a year younger than me) was drunk and we were playing spin the bottle. Want to know something funny? He recently friended me on Facebook and told me he still remembers that kiss! I’m not sure I should be proud of my puckering skills or offended…LOL!
7. If you become a best-selling author and sell your movie rights, what will be the first thing you do when you hear? Other than contact Cd Brennan and offer to share with her, of course.
Emm…Freak out? I honestly have no idea. I just know a lot of screaming and jumping around will be involved.
8. I wanted to be a helicopter pilot and a cowgirl when I grew up (still do). What did you want to grow up to be when you were a little girl?
I wanted to be a country singer. However, according to my third grade music teacher, I can’t hold a tune in a bucket. Needless to say, that assessment hasn’t improved with age—or at least I can assume I still can’t sing if the looks from my husband when I start belting out either to the radio or in church are any indication. So… I write about country singers!
And last but now least.
9. Favorite ice cream flavor.
Chocolate… Yes, I know I’m boring.
* * * *
Miss Sara, you are anything but boring! You just have to read one of your books to know that!
I laughed and laughed at your #6 answer. I “dated” a boy for 2 days in 6th grade, too. This was established by me wearing his hard baseball hat. Do you remember those? Boys used to wear them back in the 70s to school. I bugged him for ages to go out with me. So I can relate to chasing boys early on in life! And you know why he broke up with me? Because I told another girl, Janeen (the cow), that I wouldn’t kiss him (dang, I just wanted to wear the hat, get it?) and she told him — and guess who was wearing his hat the next day? You guessed it! Ja-booger-butt-neen.
And a country singer Miss Sara? Yeehah! Give us one of your favorites!
Did anyone think Orlando Bloom as an elf was sexy in the Lord of the Rings? Or am I just wierd?
Such a pleasure to have Miss Sara as a Nut. I am already lining up for GAMBLING ON A HEART. Her hero sounds perfect to me – badboy, cowboy and marine all in one? Sweet divine, I’m frisky just thinking about Zack.
