Welcome to another saucy episode of SUNDAE WITH NUTS where I have asked my fellow authors to join me for the day for a bit of fun and a laugh. We are romance writers after all!
Without further ado, I am most pleased to introduce the lovely and talented (and very brave!) Joanne Wadsworth!
I’ve posted a bit earlier this weekend as I am hosting a lovely New Zealander, so for her, our today is her Sunday!
Sundae with the Nut Joanne Wadsworth
1.Favorite knickers: cotton, lace, silk or errr…leather?
Whoa, that’s one question I’ve never been asked before. *blushing* I had no idea one could buy leather knickers. Wouldn’t those be like, um, rather sweaty-hot to wear? Yeah, I’m sticking with my nylon.
2.Who is your fantasy male or female? Or both?
Chris Hemsworth. Chris Hemsworth. Chris Hemsworth. He’s one gor-ge-ous, hunky Aussie who can swing a weapon the way they were designed to be wielded. Oh boy, now he wears a lot of leather. Which probably means he sweats a lot. Here’s a picture of him, just so we can all drool while reading on. 🙂
3.What language, when heard spoken, makes you frisky? (like Jamie Lee Curtis in A Fish called Wanda)
There is something absolutely spectacular about the Scottish burr, or the Irish brogue.
4.What vehicle, abode, beach, construction site or other locale did you lose your virginity.
Wowza. *double-blushing*
5.Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yes, do I ever. I’ll tell you a personal story. At seventeen, I was standing with two friends in a parking lot when one of them said, “Hey, there’s Jason Wadsworth. Have you met him, Joanne?” I was fairly new to town and hadn’t. But when I looked at where she pointed, it was to see three guys walking toward us. My gaze instantly zeroed in on one of them. It was the way he walked, the way his gaze shot straight to mine at the exact same moment. Then he smiled, and his eyes, I swear as blue as the sky, sparkled. He walked straight up to me and held out his hand. My heart near jumped right out of my chest.
We dated, got engaged, vowed to love each other forever (married,) and to this day, his eyes still sparkle every time he walks my way.
Well, okay, I forgot to mention he usually trips over the kids’ toys, picks up the puppy bouncing for attention at his feet, but once he reaches me, he always holds out his hand. It’s sooo cute.
6.If you could play a board game during sex, what would it be?
*triple-blushing*
7.Any special “toys” you’d like to give mention to for their outstanding achievements?
Holy moly. I swear I’ve never blushed this much in my entire life. Phew, and I’m getting rather hot, and I might say, I’m not wearing leather.
8.I *heart* Peter Cetera. What song immediately swoops you back to your “first days” of falling in love?
I don’t have a song, and I really wish I had one.
9.Most romantic or sexiest destination out there.
For me, that would be the beach and wandering hand-in-hand with my man along the wet sand. There’s nothing quite like the sun warming your skin while the waves roll in and tickle your toes.
And last but not least.
10.Favorite ice cream flavor.
Chocolate cookies and fudge, with chocolate topping that freezes like a hard chocolate shell overtop. Yummy. *smacks lips*

So happy to have Miss Joanne on Sundae With Nuts! As a fellow Antipidean, I am always happy to host another writer from Down Under and New Zealand is a magical place. She was too right 🙂 to set part of her YA series in New Zealand – there is beauty and charm aplenty in the north and south islands and I have found Kiwis to be some of the friendliest people in the world. And her Aussie hottie, Chris Hemsworth – hoowee!
Miss Joanne, I had a chuckle as I’ve never had so much blushing on the blog before LOL! But at least we are in a generation where we still blush. Can you imagine our children’s when there is nothing left unexploited and exposed? (Okay, off my soap box now).
The story of you and your husband is swoon-worthy. I am tres envious! I hooked up with my husband at an ANZAC Day Masquarade Ball in Dublin and we were both pished (as the Irish say). So very…errr..romantic LOL.
Check out Miss Joanne’s latest release, Warrior, book two of her Magio-Earth series. To love and protect, across worlds.
