Welcome to another saucy episode of SUNDAE WITH NUTS where I have asked my fellow authors to join me for the day for a bit of fun and a laugh. We are romance writers after all!
Without further ado, I am most pleased to introduce the lovely and talented (and very brave!) Jennifer Lowery!
Sundae with the Nut Jennifer Lowery
1.Favorite knickers: cotton, lace, silk or errr…leather?
Uh oh, I don’t wear any.
2.What language, when heard spoken, makes you frisky? (like Jamie Lee Curtis in A Fish called Wanda)
I guess it’s not so much a language that gets me frisky, but an accent. Put me in a room with a Scottish or Irish guy and I’m toast, lol. Those accents get me every time!
3.Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yep! It’s one of those unexplained wonders that drives many of my happily ever after’s 🙂
4.If you could play a board game during sex, what would it be?
Scrabble. I think you could spell some very sexy words 🙂 In my WIP my hero/heroine actually played a game of Scrabble that turned very sensual!
5.I *heart* Peter Cetera. What song immediately swoops you back to your “first days” of falling in love?
Why Can’t This Be Love by Van Halen
6.Most romantic or sexiest destination out there.
Ireland.
7.Who was your first crush or kiss?
My first Hollywood crush was Jan-Michael Vincent in the movie Defiance. I know, lol! Shows my age! Back then we didn’t have internet so I wrote the TV Guide expressing my love of Jan-Michael and they were so awesome they sent me a fan pack with a signed photo of him along with a fan letter and some other info from him! I was over the moon! Looking back, that was over the top for whoever in the office at the TV Guide did that for a small town pre-teen.
8.If you become a best-selling author and sell your movie rights, what will be the first thing you do when you hear? Other than contact Cd Brennan and offer to share with her, of course.
LOL! How awesome would that be! As with every contract I’ve signed with my books I would go out and buy a celebration cake to share with my family. Then I would book a trip to Ireland, lol.
9.I wanted to be a helicopter pilot and a cowgirl when I grew up (still do). What did you want to grow up to be when you were a little girl?
A writer 🙂
And last but not least.
10.Favorite ice cream flavor.
Mint Chocolate Chip.
Thank you for having me today, Cd!! I just want to send out a big THANK YOU to all my readers out there! Without you I wouldn’t be here. My wish is to one day meet each and every one of you so I can personally thank you for your generosity and support!
All my best,
Jennifer

It is my pleasure Jennifer! I’m with you on all things Irish, including their accents. Having lived there for 7 years, a bit of my heart still remains. I’ll get back there one day soon and I hope you do too. I had to look up Jan-Michael Vincent – I was like WTH? But he was a hottie!
And my favorite this week was Jennifer’s honesty in regards to question #1. I applaud her! Of course, I don’t know that I could ever do that myself. There were a couple times when I was camping that I had to go knickerless out of necessity. I had worn them well past inside-outside, inside-outside. 🙂
I am a big fan of Jennifer’s and her blog, Romance Recipes, which I don’t get to visit half as much as I would like. I’m not sure if I am envious or in awe of those lovelies out there that can write AND cook. It’s on my bucket list!
Take a minute to check out HARD CORE, you’ll be glad you did!
